Event Review - Jeep-or-Treat

The Jeep-or-Treat that was held on Saturday, October 8th, was a sweet treat of delightful fun and smiling faces.

Under the Autumn sun and bare blue sky, Jeeps were webbed and decorated in friendly spooks. As parents and costume adorned children walked from trunk to trunk, candy could be heard softly clanking into pink and blue jack-o-lantern buckets. Trick-or-treats we’re also  joyfully heard around the parking lot that adjoined Chick-Fil-A on the Nicholls State property.

The event watercolored a charming scene of a Halloween festivity not only on the surrounding atmosphere, but also upon Children’s faces. black cats, superheroes, and polka-dotted mice pranced around with painted cheeks and hearts filled with memory beats.

My family and I joined this festival, and my momma heart was also imprinted with this memory beat. This was my baby’s first Halloween activity. As I walked around holding my 6 month old, I enjoyed watching her gaze upon the friendly vehicle owners who passed out candy. I also loved looking upon my baby’s face as she watched other children speak “trick-or-treat” amongst the festive Jeeps.

As a new mom, I would definitely recommend this event to other parents. It was a “light and airy” event that was charmingly pleasant. The Jeep-or-Treat entailed face painting, music, pictures with the Chick-Fil-A cow, and face painting.

Make sure to attend next year under the shining Autumn sun for Fall fun!
