Look Towards the Sun

The other day I took a walk around our community pond. As my tennis shoes breezed through the clover I looked to the sun. It bloomed with a yellow daffodil radiance. It pushed the white clouds aside with spirituality.

Have you looked towards the sun lately? Moms, dads, husbands, wives…women and men? Have you taken a moment with God to feel his Springtime warmth?

What happens when you stop around your “community pond” and revel in the sun?

- God’s piercing rays burn off anxiety, worry, doubt, and tiresome thoughts. You then are enveloped in perennials that surround your stable feet.
- Jesus’ grace wafts through the air and touches your burdensome cheeks. His grace sets you upon padded dirt that does not budge. You are able to go forward without crumbling.
- You take in the “point of life”. As you look through sunbeams and over the sugarcane fields, life sets upon the horizon. You feel God’s “point” and look at the clover through compass glass.
- Jesus and your heavenly home is the ultimate objective of this life.

So, as you take a walk today or drive in your car to your destination, stand for a moment in the green clover. Take a moment and just stand with the sun on your pink cheeks. You’ll feel God’s grace, strength, and objective. Everything that gray clouds your thoughts will “burn off”.
