How to Block the Wasps of Life

Block the Wasps of Life before they Sting…How to succeed…Keep Fighting

Today, there was a couple battles I had to face…a crabby toddler and combating wasps.

There are some days (as parents/ every day humans) that feel as though around every bedroom or workplace bend, there are battles arising.

A constant horn seems to blow to summon the announcement of a battle, such as cranky toddlers that need a nap, a harsh boss, or pesky wasps.

As my daily routine as a mom, I workout as my little “foal” naps. Today, while I was punching the humid air (I live in Louisiana), I also had to punch wasps with bug spray. I felt as though these insects with a strong sting became my war opponent.

When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you. - Deuteronomy 20:1-2

When little to big battles arise, tack up your God-given war horse that is roped to your house, and ride with a strong grip. Keep your boots soundly in the stirrups, and balance yourself with a bold mentality. Ride with God leading the battle position to His promise of victory.

As I “rode in on my chestnut horse” to battle the wasps, God heightened my shield…spray, swat, success!

In that moment, God gave me persistence and a sound mind to sword swipe with persevering passion.

If you let the “wasps” of life sting you throughout the day, you will itch with anxiety, anger, and a quitting quota.

Don’t back up your horse and retreat, but let God “deliver you out of Egypt” on a daily basis. His promises are the silver lining on our armor.

So, Saddle your war horse daily with bug spray in the sheath, and block the “wasps” of life before they injure your spirit.

Forever fight with God at the forefront, and you will succeed in saddling with a consistent sound mind.
