This too, shall Pass
They “arctic blast” into our lives, and blow straight-line winds into our foundations.
When trials blizzard and form ice sheets, God’s comfort covers our “heart pipes” with insulated warmth. He layers us with coverings that protect against damaging frost. Jesus guards us from a potential freeze that could harden our spirits. He “heat wraps” our foundational being against the temperature drops that cause pain.
God’s comfort lights a fire of warmth in the midst of stinging frigidness. We gather around to hear a campfire song titled, “This too, shall pass.” Jesus sings and conveys, a break will come and clear the sun.
God’s ultimate love for us thaw the tribulations and they break. The winds remiss and the winter ice melts. And there before you, the day shines a stronger foundation, preserved and solid with faith.
Remember, “This too, shall, pass” and the trialed winter will end. God’s promises and His love will light a fire and still your soul. Look for the sun just above the snow-capped Birch trees.
Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. - Matthew 7:24-25
