Coffee Minute Moment with Mama Mare: Crocheted by God

  Yesterday, my little “foal” and I visited a local market along with family. While we were there, I bought her a pink Peep crocheted bunny. 

The professional crocheted technique of “Pinky” is tight and strong enough for a toddler to throw around or excessively drop…drop…drop onto rocks. 

As, parents…everyday people, are we being crocheted by God? Are we letting Him pick from His yarn basket to weave us together? 

If we push aside God’s yarn basket, and take up our own technique and yarn choices for life, we will fail miserably and create destruction. 

Our “Pinky” will be anxiously loose, unraveled, and weak, and every time it’s thrown onto trialed rocks, it will disintegrate. 

Without God’s will and leadership in life, we are lifeless yarn tangled upon thistles and thorns. 

When we surrender to Him, and give Him allowance to be Lord of our lives, He picks the perfect yarn that’s untangled and smoothly intertwines. 

When He crochets our lives, we become a perfected “Pinky” that can be consistently dropped by high adrenaline toddlers. We remain in tact and vibrant in powerful pink. 

We remain solid, unwavered, and full of stuffed joy because of God’s perfect professional hands.
