Coffee Minute Moment with Mama Mare: Give us our Daily Bread
Dinner is situated in the “Crockpot corral” and my little “foal” and I enjoyed the outside air. Chalk powder rainbows and flowers the cement under toy dump truck tires.
While my foal napped, I looked around my home…broth simmers and smells of garlic garnish. Toys bush over the floor like lilacs, while Spring sets on my windows in the shapes of butterfly clings.
I smell the sweetness of my surroundings and I thank God for my daily bread.
As moms, if we put every moment in the oven, reflect and pray, our daily bread will bake with rising joy and gratefulness.
Whether those moments are messy, organized, hectic, or lighthearted, they still come out of the oven baked with inner blessings. They still come out of the oven with fluffed fulfillment.
We are fulfilled with fillings of God’s will, our children’s smiles, and a happy house. We are fulfilled by looking at our toddlers at night as they dream innocently under rotating nightlight stars.
So put each moment in the oven. While you wait, ponder and pray. Thankfulness will start to arise. God’s blessings can be tasted in each piece of daily bread.
