Coffee Minute Moment with Mama Mare: Clear the Cloud Fluff

Right now, I’m taking a second to recoup from the morning routine while my “little foal” watches a bit of TV. As I look into the distance past the Blippi shenanigans, the fluff of the day is clouding my mind and motivation. 


The clouds roll in and minimize the sight-lines of my week. My eyes feel weak from trying to focus on my gated goals. They are strained from trying to seek through the fluffy antics of the dilly-dally dailies. 


When we start allowing life to take hold of our minds instead of God, the clouds control the seasons of our thoughts. Instead of pure “clear sky” thinking, we are bombarded by black stormy clouds of obscure and obtrusive thoughts.   


Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8


When you start to think upon God’s loveliness, your mind will cast a sunshiny sky of fair thoughts. A cloudless mind will radiate God’s strength and recoup your routine with a beautiful climate. 


So, when you turn off the TV or resume life after your break, clear the cloud fluff from your mind. Think upon godly thoughts and your day will strengthen from a sunny vitamin D mind.
