Coffee Minute Moment with Mama Mare: The Little Things

Yesterday, my husband was off of work, so we decided to have a fun “little” day together. I peppered pigtails and butterfly clips in my little girl’s hair and we fluttered off like small swallowtails.

Our day was cube drops of sweet small sugar crystals of fun-loving liberation. The little things of the day lighted with a sense of freedom. Freedom to take small steps that were light with simple love.

Jesus’ love is light and simple like the “little things” in life. The trueness of His unburdened love does not oppress us with commanded sacraments (with “rat race” rituals). It does not oppress us with “commercialism”. His love is like a local shop during Autumn; real pieces are found that create a collection of a whole heart. Duped love is not sold, only genuine agape originality.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

There is freedom in His love…liberating looseness of mind and soul. Shoulders are alleviated and feel like the airy moments of the memorable little things.

God’s love is “little-big”. It’s huge hugs in the little blessed moments. It’s big peace that is light and easy just like a giggly jaunt of a toddler through a pet store. His love is like your first look at the big Gulf in an airy little moment…neverending “little-bigness”.
