Mama Mare Coffee Minute Moment: Go to Church with Toddlers
Go to church with toddlers…
Even when it’s hard to get them ready in the morning…go to church.
When they’re screaming, “No! I don’t want to brush my teeth!”…go to church.
When they are being particularly slow and unreasonable…go to church.
When they are whining in the backseat as you trail behind a sugarcane truck…keep driving.
When you get out of the car and they start crying…push through the church doors with perseverance.
One day, your toddler will enjoy church (Even to the point of not wanting to leave. An instance that happened today.)
Keep pushing, keep driving, keep going because eventually, you will witness a little one in the same class hug your little girl (or little boy). Eventually, you will see them thrive amongst godly friends and family. Eventually, you will see the Holy Spirit fruits of labored Sunday mornings…your child’s salvation and a relationship with Jesus.
Keep driving to keep their souls’ thriving.
Keep going because when Jesus knocks at the door, they will open.
