Mama Mare Coffee Minute Moment: As they say, “It’s the little things.”
If you have followed me on my quest to close the doors on a new refrigerator…the quest is now complete. Yesterday, I shut the doors to my new stainless steel blessing. The small gesture of closing the doors has felt like a huge haul of fresh groceries. I feel overwhelmingly blessed by the simplicity to reach in and grab God’s goodness.
So, as they say, “It’s the little things.”
It’s the little things that overwhelm your heart with thankfulness. It’s the little things that seemingly jolt you with joy.
It’s the long awaited ice cubes in your iced coffee that give you “heavy cream” hype.
It’s the giggles from your toddler that fill your ears and heart with lullaby lyrics of love.
It’s the homey and stress reducing hug you receive from your husband after a long day.
It’s the “little acorn” park days and grabbing a small bite to eat at Chicken Salad Chick.
It’s a light stroll through a quaint Valentine’s Market at The Floral Hive with your “little lollipop” girl.
It’s the photographer (Vivid Artistry) vividly trying for 20 minutes to take Valentines pictures of your tiny timid girl.
It’s grabbing a small coffee (iced of course) at The Mellow Mug or The Blended Bean while your bitty ballerina hangs on your hip.
It is and it will always be, as they say, “The little things.”
So, if you’re closing the door on a new refrigerator, big blessings surmount the simple action. Small blessings mound like grapes behind the “everyday life” doors.
