Another day

Another blessing

Another chance

Another day,

under God’s “kitchen lighting”,

of His amazing grace

God’s grace shines on us everyday like recessed lighting insetted in our kitchen ceilings. 

His love for us will never dim or “go out” due to a fleshly power failure/ sinful shortcomings. 

Nothing can separate us from the love of God. His love is right upon us unlike the height of ten foot ceilings. 

We can be rest assured, when we turn on our kitchen lights, God’s love will illuminate our full and sometimes tarnished “kitchen sink” mind.

We can be rest assured that God’s grace will fill us everyday to the bountiful brim like a pantry full of toddler snacks. 

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8: 38-39
